We are the oldest active congregation, established in 1828, in Hamilton County. Our congregation is a loving and caring group that lives a life as Jesus taught.
The women of the church are active in putting on several programs each year. They match our youth group, which range from 2-18, in putting on pageants and programs for the church.
Our choir is small yet their enthusiasm is unmatched. They thrill us each year with an inspiring Easter and Christmas program.
The outreach program in our church provides food for emergency situations from a small food pantry. Each year we select 5 families in our area to help make Christmas a wonderful event for the children and adults by providing a table full of food and gifts.
While we are the oldest active church, our thinking is active and we are striving to become more involved with our community. We have an annual picnic and watch the fireworks display celebrating the birth of our nation.
We have a Sunday School with refreshments at 10:00, a Sunday morning traditional service that begins at 11:00, and a Wednesday night Bible Study that begins with a pot luck supper at 6:30. We do provide a nursery and on Sunday mornings we have a Junior Church for elementary aged children.
We hope you will visit with us and come to know the love and caring that our church family has for each other and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
